Refuse/Recycling Service Options |
The City of Grant has a solid waste hauling contract with Republic Services, this contract provides a group rate for everyone in town that helps to keep costs low. Any rate increases are neogiated and kept to a minimum. Furthermore, by having a city-wide contract truck traffic is reduced on residential streets. This results in quieter neighboorhoods, safer streets, and less wear and deterioration to the roads.
Republic Services can be contacted at 877-698-7274. Weekly trash collection occurs on Tuesday mornings. Customers may also select to have curbside recycling service. Recycling carts are collected once per month, on the first Tuesday of the month.
|
To avoid missing collection, please put your cart out the night before the scheduled pick-up. For customers who do not want cart service, individual bags are avaiable for purchase at the City Offices for $2.00 each. Other costs for services negoiated through the city contract can be found on the Fee Schedule.
