Kasey possesses a Master of Public Administration from Grand Valley State University and was hired by the Grant City Commission in September 2018. The City of Grant operates under the Council-Manager form of government. As City Manager, he oversees the day to day operations, works closely with the city commision and departments to carry out goals and policy directives.

Sherry earned a dual degree in Accounting and Computer Information Systems from Baker College. Sherry was hired as City t/Deputy Clerk in 1997. She was promoted to City Clerk in 2005 and to Assistant City Manager/Clerk in 2007. She assisted with the overall operations of the city and crosstraining administrative staff. She administered local elections and oversaw city records including Ordinances, Meeting Minutes, and Parkview Cemetery records. Sherry served as an ex-officio member of the Planning Commission, has served on the Ashland-Grant Fire Board, the Grant Area District Library Board, and as Vice President of the Grant Area Chamber of Commerce.
After 23 years with us, Sherry retired from the City of Grant as of December 3, 2020!

City Treasurer/Utility Billing Clerk
Sara possesses a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan and 26 years of logistics experience with UPS. As treasurer she is responsible for overseeing the city's accounting and billing, and budgeting process.

Justin was hired in November 2017 to oversee the department of public works. This includes maintenance of the community building, city hall, city parks, Parkview Cemetery, and city-owned equipment.
