The city Zoning Administrator is responsible for administering the Zoning Ordinance and providing guidance on zoning requirements, land use regulations, and permit procedures. This individual assists residents and property owners in identifying the necessary zoning forms, application processes, and compliance requirements for proposed projects.
Additionally, the Zoning Administrator can help applicants complete the required permit applications to facilitate a smooth approval process. For more information or to schedule a consultation, please contact the City Office.
Once a project receives local zoning approval, it may be necessary to obtain Building, Mechanical, Electrical, and/or Plumbing permits. Contact the Newaygo County Department of Building Safety & Permits for more details.
